Speculations about his condition arose on social media, prompting worry among his supporters. However, film producer Anto Joseph, a close friend of the actor, has shared positive news regarding Mammootty's recovery.

In a heartfelt message on X, Anto expressed gratitude, stating, "The prayers of many people around the world have borne fruit, thank you God, thank you, thank you."
